Any chance he'll make it to the wjc u18?

He'll be making his pro debut tonight vs Jukurit (at Mikkeli)
- been on fire in the u20's of late, 8 goals, 1.60 ppg in his last 10 games.

3rd line center (at least as a start)
- with other 17 year old Kasper Pikkarainen* and 21 year old Shikera

*son of Ilkka Pikkarainen, former AHL/NHL er and 19 year pro hockey player
(NHL, KHL, SHL, Sm-Liiga, AHL, DEL)

---

Saku Koivu is 5 foot 10
his son Aatos, is almost 6 foot 1 (184 cm)

1 period down.

Played well, didn't get many minutes
had a one semi-scoring chance and played a great scoring chance for his linemate
Pikkarainen, who couldn't score. Aatos even had a hit (or two*), which forced the dman to lose the puck and then picked the loose puck for himself.

*he might of had one hit in his own end, when his line was defending a long Jukurit attack.

Not sure did he took a single face-off

Scoreless in four games with TPS men's team but has scored 17 goals in 21 games with the club's U20 team.

How does he compare with teammate Emil Hemming in terms of NHL potential?

Hemming is far better and more advanced but Koivu has taken some positive steps to his game. I think he's closer to another teammate in Kasper Pikkarainen than to Hemming.

Do you see Pikkarainen and Koivu being drafted this year?
I see both of them being taken in the 3-5 round range as of right now, with Koivu going a bit higher. They're pretty close in my mind but I think Koivu has slightly overtaken him, but Pikkarainen is younger with a bigger frame so there's time for him to rise. Would take them both as early as the beginning of the 3rd.
