I don't like that the other team can't ice the puck.
It is 6 skaters verse 5. In my book that is a power play.
You are forcing the other team to make plays short handed

6 players on one side of the ice, 6 players on the other side of the ice. It's not a powerplay, your book is wrong.

Yeah you're not down a man plus the free icing on PK is an outdated rule anyway. Let's get rid of it.

Also I'd like to see a team pull a skater for an extra goalie once. An actual goalie tandem. Build a wall and turtle up baby. Yes it's probably against the rules. Bummer.

What I’m curious about, what happens on a delayed penalty on your team, and the team that is getting the PP, ices the puck.

Where is the faceoff, for the PP,
Does the icing get nullified because of the PP, or does the faceoff happen in the zone, to the team that iced it.

For once I’d like to see a gentleman’s war where both teams pull the goalie at an agreed upon time in a pivotal point in the game
If we had a 3-2-1-0 system we'd see it happens.

Teams would likely need regulations wins near the end of the year, we'd probably see teams pull the goalie in tie games by the end of the season. Would be interesting.

I believe this situation would result in a neutral zone faceoff. Whether it's on the attacking or defending side of the red line, I don't know as far as the NHL goes. In USA Hockey, it would be on the defending side of the red line in the neutral zone.

Here's a tiny tweak I'd make: If you ice the puck with your goalie pulled, you can't put your goalie back in for the faceoff in your zone.

This happened for Montreal against Florida the other night.
