There are actually numbers besides face-off % to support a Vezina though. It would be a totally undeserving win if Price won.

I mean whatever, it's for a good cause.. I just can't help but feel it could have been 10-20x that amount and still been short.

Well, that's nowhere near 10 picks in the top rounds... let alone in the first round. You don't build a contender overnight with that kind of picks.

I don't think anyone expects them to build over night, but it's a good start. There's more trades to come. No way LV keeps all those D.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sell whatever assets they can at the trade deadline too.

They're at 11 picks for 2017 right now. If they can finish with 12+ picks for each of the 2017, 2018 & 2019 while also getting top 5 draft picks in 2018 (outstanding draft year) & 2019, they should have a solid young core in 5 years.
