Marty ripping on the PP.

They have a continuation of Granato-era play in that it was (and still is) okay to peel away from going to the net on the PP. They do not try to attack the front of the net even when they have numbers on the rush. It's ALWAYS peel away, pass it back, move the puck further away from the slot ... never any sort of net jam with numbers and attitude.

If anywhere could use Kreider... it would be that.

He's already packed his bags and is waiting to be traded to Buffalo. The Rangers have lost five in a row, by the way. :naughty:

Based on the thread so far, I guess it isn't a bad thing I am stuck at work and can't watch.
Borinnggg game. I don't think either team is all that focused on winning. I stopped watching about half way through the second. Just not entertaining enough.

They've controlled a lot of the play but they haven't converted nor really manufactured much of danger. The PP has let them down *again*. The only play they have is trying to find Tage for a one-timer and it's not enough. STILL.

That GA is three mistakes - Byram waterskiing at the end of a long shift, McLeod going on his backhand and easily turning the puck over, UPL not keeping his paddle down. It's rarely just one thing.

McLeod's worst game I've seen from him.
