I really do not see the Malkin comparaison though. Like, not even close.

Malkin is more dynamic around the ice. Byfield seems to play a more "controlled" game. Not a lot of movement. Seems like a smart player, but he does not impress me at all.

That being said, I am only going by last year's tournament and 2 shifts today.

What you do at the WJC as a young 18 year-old means very little.
