Can't wait to see how N.A will respond against a proper national team that really does care.. Jet lag could slow the czechs down though.

I am pulling for a Team Czech win here today, I think Team N.A needs to be toughened up and a loss here will do wonders for their team game going into the real games.

Traitor!! Joking obviously

Yeah Team NA needs to tighten up on D for sure. It's a WJC team on steroids, lots of ups and downs.
 
We're going to see a snarly Polak in this game. The Czechs aren't going to allow themselves to be embarrassed.

Honestly, I think a tight hard fought loss here would do wonders for them going forward. Let them know what they are really up against here, a team building thing.

I don't hope for a loss, but I do hope for a tough game. I see your point and agree. These kids need to be challenged, they can't be up 5-1 and let teams back in. They need to develop the killer instinct to bury teams when they're up.

Going to be very interesting to see what happens against a team with a lot of pride like the Czechs.

Eh, I don't see much issue in letting up when you're spanking a team in exhibition.

Yup. It's different than it is with Canada. With Canada we get into that tribal warlike state, with this team it's more analysis and enjoyment at how talented these kids are. The speed and pace they play are at are easy to appreciate.

Maybe if you know your limits but being challenged properly would be a good experience for these kids to have before the real games begin.
