don't remind them of that! it will really throw some pie on the face of all the "we could lose every exhibition game, and it wouldn't matter, blah blah, these games don't count, blah blah" guys ;)

You're right! Better leave the poring over minutae to the Canucks.....

Nice way to generalize people. SOME people care about exhibition like me. Look in the last thread, I never said "It's just exhibition". I actually enjoy exhibition games. :teach:

No. It was made 10 years before I was born.
So?
not an excuse not to see it. Probably one of the greatest movies of all time. Far better than Old school / van wilder / other generic crap

I don't think Conklin's out of it, just the U.S. brass might be looking at things a little differantly right now. Conklin will get a chance to redeem himself, just as Luongo has.
I really don't think Conklin's got a shot at starting. Even before the games started I think he was third. Plus the fact that he has given up 4 goals in 3 periods won't help his argument or his confidence before the tourney starts.

Man, these threads get stupid fast. When USA wins, SOME Canadian fans whine and say "It's just exhibition" When Canada wins, SOME American fans just type that Canadian fans say "It's just exhibition". LET's enjoy the game PLEASE!

(Thank you :joker: )

as do i, and thus, you should exclude yourself from the well-spirited jab i was taking at those were writing off last game as "just exhibition, " doubtless the same posters that will now celebrate this game as "a sure sign of a Canadian cup"

I have heard of it, but never had the opportunity to see it. So what? ;)

Who is a scratch for USA??? I have been listening for a while but I cant figure out the line combos. If it is posted somewhere else, I must have missed it.

He played very well in the first game, not so well tonight. He'll get another opportunity Friday. I do agree however, that he is probably third man on the proverbial totem pole.

Rolston makes a typical shot by shooting into the chest of the goalie :joker:

I haven't heard Hull's name all night, so he's probably a scratch.

Well, when you throw 350 shots on net each year a few are bound to miss the mark............. :propeller
I said it because that's what Rolston did a lot last season in Boston :joker:

Yeah, me either. Did he play the first game???

Yeah, and from what I could tell he played very well. It's gotta be tough for the U.S. to have to bust a geriatric like him out of the home and wheel him onto the ice. I wonder how Lemieux's doing?

Rolston kicks the tires and lights the fires, it's up to the other scrubs to bury the rebounds!!! Go Kris Vernarsky!!!! :hockey:
