The turnover is on Eichel, which led to the goal against. The stick being knocked out of his hands doesn't happen if the puck is down the other end of the ice. Not a knock on Gibson, just saying Eichel needed to get off the ice much sooner because he was too tired to even make a break out pass.

Yeah, I don't really blame McDavid. It was a cascade of bad plays that lead to that goal

Fair enough.

Just don't think people should jump down Gibson's throat for that one. The first goal was weak. The second is understandable. You have the stick knocked out of your hands, there's a moment of panic, the puck crosses the crease followed by a hard shot and all he's got is his glove hand and a screen in front but not in the shooting lane...I mean...that's not that bad a goal to give up. It sucks that it happened but it's not on him entirely.

Please continue to tell me how matthews who has made no difference in these games but skates fast latterly is amazing

Assisted on the first goal, and just drew a penalty (also drew the penalty where NA scored their first goal last game)...

Oh, and he skates really fast laterally.

Grow up, Eichel made a bad play and people were acknowledging it. These are still exhibition games and don't mean much but NA needs to fix these when the real tournament starts.
