While I disagree Reilly is a #1 right now.. This Europe team is not an AHL team

Eh - not far off. It's a team with bottom 6ers and has beens with a few quality players sprinkled through. It's like you just opened a HUT pack and played with that.

Good play by Jo.

I mean I get that Euro roster is relatively weak but nobody on that team is even trying to skate. There's a difference between being slow and not trying to skate. Zero defensive zone pressure (someone from NA just held the puck in the zone for like 5 seconds 1vs5 and was left alone), zero attempts to check anyone, zero backchecking, zero offensive off-the-puck movement. Any marginal team not featured would have done better than this assembly.

I think one of the keys to beating NA, at least early on is the play a bit more physical, not so that you do stupid things but you need to make sure that they can't use their speed and playmaking the way they have these last two games, though thatmight be easier said then done. They are getting an awful lot of open ice to do what they please with though. Cze is a more physical team, should be interesting to see that one even if they aren't as good offensively.

Kinda unfair groupings. Usa and canada get the punchbag team europe while sweden and russia gets juggernaut Team NA.

What? did you just compare team europe to an ahl team...:shakehead that's like saying half the teams in the NHL are AHL quality

Reilly scores a goal and now debate is if he's a #1 D or not?

lol

It wasn't even a good goal. I'd feel like the statement was a bit more justified(but still ridiculous) if Rielly had made some intelligent, or high skill play that resulted in a goal. But a long range wrist shot that is going wide, but happens to deflect off a defenseman and into the net? That's trying too hard.

Reilly looking like a #1 D there

Cough
