The games is not on TV in my area so I didn't see exactly what happened but Linus Ullmark tweaked something during the 1st period tonight in Edmonton - he finished the period ( stopping 6 of 7 shots ) but did not return to the game in the 2nd period.

I just heard- turned on the Sens-Oilers to see Linus and found out he was out injured. Sucks for Ottawa, the Oil has gotten two past Merilainen already

I simply think they had a plan for size in their bottom lines and Boqvist doesn't fit the big body forecheck hitting style they were looking for, too bad ...now they lack speed.

Agreed, and he was the victim of the numbers game to an extent too. Beecher was getting a regular role this season, they traded for Kastelic, signed Koepke, and there is McLaughlin they need to make a decision about this season, too. Then Frederic, Brazz, possibly Coyle and Geek for the bottom 6 (going into the season I mean) Not a lot of room for Jesper but I too wish they had kept him.
