I don't know why you would be sure about that.
A multi millionaire still relatively young I don't think he is gonna find it difficult to meet another woman and find his next chapter in life it's not like he's a murderer living on the street

He's got a lot of money and a problem with alcohol. That is not a good combination. Hopefully he's getting the help he needs because he could end up destroying himself. The abuse incident with his (former?) wife was a huge red flag in his life, I hope he saw it before it was too late.

I heard he did go through the program and is in good shape. I hope this is true.

Even still, I am sure Looch feels the pain of the way his career ended. He loved the guys he played with and Boston. He is a hockey historian and well spoken.. I still hope something works out for him somewhere in the field of hockey.

As a fan of the big guy, I wish him the best and hope things work out for him and his family

In November 2023, Lucic's wife made a 911 call, reporting that he had pulled her hair and tried to strangle her. He was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery. Lucic pled not guilty and was released. In February 2024, his wife decided not to testify against him in court. The judge then ruled that the 911 call was inadmissible, alleging that "if she was choked, she would have had markings on her neck".Subsequently, his charges were dropped.

So Horton didn’t show and Lucic not invited

Sad & sader

Lucic wrecked his life & legacy

Not sure how this guy gets up every morning

I wish he would have made a presser where he told how deeply sorry he is for everything that happened but somehow he didnt ... I cannot explain why ...

The worst part is that Lucic was absolutely beloved. He had a job for life as an ambassador for the team, probably would've gotten a job on local radio or one of the guys at the desk with Sophia on NESN, and he just threw it all away in one drunken night. I feel sad about it.

As for Horton, the way that he's completely refused to engage in anything with the organization since he left in 2013 is odd. During the lockdown when they did that zoom Livestream of game 7 of the finals, he was one of the only guys not there, and he hasn't been to any of the 2011 team or 100th anniversary stuff. When other disgruntled guys who have held grudges against the team like Jason Allison, Espo, Tim Thomas, etc. came back for anniversary events, makes you think that something bad had to have happened, whether it's that one big unconfirmed rumor that always followed Horton's exit or something completely different that we don't know about. He always struck me as a friendly enough guy when he played here, him going no contact is weird and disappointing.
I’m pretty sure he was there last year for the 100th anniversary home opener when they came out in the duck boat wasn’t he? I thought he was anyway.

Yeh more to life than that
An absolute ton more. Guys you went to war with and obviously had intense friendships with — and you can’t even play an alumni game with them.

You’ve made yourself so toxic no amount of money can soothe that burn.

Loved Looch, but I have zero tolerance for men who can’t treat women with respect. Let alone bully/abuse them.

One of life’s easiest hurdles to cross - if you can’t clear it then lie in the bed you made for yourself.

Wow, good for Jake. He never broke 30 before, would be nice to see him pass 40.

As to Lindholm, his contract became an albatross a full 2 to 3 years sooner than I predicted it would. Nearly $8M cap hit through age 37. Yikes
Better hope there is one buyout allowed not counting against cap with new CBA.
