Makes me a bit sad. May be the end coming for Looch.
A third of the season gone by not a single goal. Goes back into last year 40 plus games.
Not a single fight either.
And tonight a healthy scratch. Word is he better get used to it.

Loved him here. I hate it when guys hang on too long.
Sad to see but big power forwards age like milk in todays league. Happy the Bs got his best years. Hated the trade when it happened but in hindsight they cut bait at the perfect time.

He'll be in PTO land or close but I think a few guys on our roster are going to price themselves out of returning to the Bruins next summer. Even Fredric with the way PFs get paid might be a very tough fit. It might make sense on a deal 1.1 mil or less.

We sold in time to get a 1st round pick but lets be honest having 3 first round selections in a row in a historical drafted ended up being the worst thing possible for us. He had 2 good seasons after leaving Boston and then basically fell off a cliff. I wouldn't have minded having the contract year we could have won it all in 2016 if we dont miss the playoffs I think we beat Pittsburgh over 7 games.

The last year in Boston, Lucic had cement skates.

Krug leading the league with a -22 and has over 70% offense zone starts. I get Blues aren't having the season they expected but they're still playing 500 hockey
I watch all the Blues' highlights I can. Think I even watched a period of a game versus the Canucks and the -22 is very valid. Krug is having a terrible year. I guess his detractors were right, we did not need him.

Ya, such a pitty to watch a Bruins icon fizzle out like this. It breaks my heart because he was a crucial part of this team at one time. This guy willed himself into a important player. I got nothing but respect for him but facts are facts, he's done.

I always thought Tim was a good guy, now I know I was right about him.
Hate to disagree because we agree on most things but I never got Thomas always thought he was a putz and I feel I was right about him too.

Pretty funny on both counts
Lucic's got 4 pts in his last 4 games
and you got the wrong Tim too.

Always will remember this, thought it was Rosie Ruzicka re-incarnated

Oddly enough, my son and I are going to see the Admirals tomorrow night (12/27). He got to meet Schaller when he was a Canuck. Super nice guy. Now I like him even more.
