Thanks for the memories Nabby!

Was a big fan of him in San Jose, and was thrilled when the Islanders finally got him to suit up.

He'll be missed for sure. Would love to see him in a coaching position with either the Sharks or Islanders.

The young guys over here on LI love Nabby.

Great goalie. One of my favorite goalies in the 2000's. Fun goalie to watch and had a great career.

That game is one that stands out in my mind to this day as one of the best, and I'm a fan of neither team.

Agreed. One of the best games I've ever seen and I also had no emotional attachment to either team.

That save though...with the context and the save itself...probably the best save ever.

Man, I remember when I started watching hockey, he was in net for the Sharks. He was part of why I love the team. All the best to him.

And thanks for the memories Nabby

One of my favourite goalies during his years as a Shark, even got a street hockey mask that looked just like his. And I hate the Sharks lol.

Love that he retires a shark. Man time flies. One of my favorite goalies. Hope he stays around the game.

his family stayed in sj after he got traded and still lives there, and at the press announcement he stated all he knows is hockey which might allude to a job somewhere in hockey but when asked where hes going next he said its too early for him to know or something like that. but I saw his eyes glance towards doug Wilson when asked this so I have a feeling he'll be a goalie coach in sj.
