We hear a lot about Crosby but let's be real. He'll never be traded. Is is the same for Malkin? I would love to have him in Montreal. I think he's still a good 2nd line center but I would love to have a respected russian to help Demidov acclimate to the NHL.

What would it cost? Do you think he would waive his NMC to go to Montreal or anywhere else or would he rather stay put?

Hes not getting traded

His decline as hes aged + all the injuries which have impacted him make his value too low to deal.

I cant see him getting more than a late 1st + fringe prospect which doesnt seem enough to deal the 4th best player in franchise history and a top 40-50 all timer

Yes. Malkin came out in an article a few days ago that was basically he's only playing for Pittsburgh, including not playing in the KHL after retiring.
