Yeah it sounds like they had Vanacker ranked ahead of Boisvert (or at least the same as Boisvert), but knew they could get Vanacker later so they took Boisvert first

I think that's exactly what you're seeing with that reaction in the vid. Looks like they gambled and it paid off.

They wouldn't have picked Boisvert first if he was behind Vanacker on their list.

Both kids were obviously 1A and 1B for them and they felt like they lucked out when 1B was still there at 27.
