Value of: Evander Kane

I think people would be surprised how much value he’d have on the open market. Hes a loose cannon and can be an absolute f***ing idiot but he’s also healthy, talented, and a rare breed of player. He’d have value around the league.
hey hey woah this is HF how dare you have anything positive to say about that 'classless piece of shit'

I highly doubt it. He's done nothing to heal his image since joining Edmonton, and they were already one of the only teams dumb/desperate enough to give him a chance.

From the rental cars to the solo laps to the general shitbaggery on the ice.. I cant see him being a popular addition on many teams.

Dumbass Holland was the GM who gave him this contract, and a part of me is worried he brings this shitbag to LA

Oilers would have to add a sweetener for any team not contending to take this bum on. No contending team would be interested in him. He's a cancer with a lot of baggage. You don't win with guys like Kane.

As an Oilers fan, I know his time here should be done….. that being said if the Oilers can trade him, whoever gets him will get him at a discount compared to the value he will bring for one year before he gets to UFA…. When motivated, he plays more controlled, shoots more, and his off ice stuff isn’t an issue.. after a few years he reverts back and hence his time as an Oiler should be done.
He becomes a problem when he gets too comfortable….

$5.1x1 will look like a steal after we see some of the contracts handed out this off-season. He should absolutely have a market this off-season even if it has to wait until mid summer when the FA well dries up. I wouldn't be shocked if Oilers management already know they can get out of the last year of his deal which (very) slightly explains the willingness to commit so much to Frederic.

Nah, you’re getting another Holland favourite in Nurse. Enjoy him. He doesn’t drag down every pairing he’s on at all!

Wouldn’t be shocked if he’s impossible to move.

He didn’t agree with team on LTIR issue. Did the whole expensive car thing, whatever the f*** that was. Then, when the team needed him most he hurt ‘em instead.

A team like SJ or Chicago shouldn’t want his attitude around young players, so no good playoff teams want him and no rebuilds want him either. Nashville? They’re doing whatever over there, maybe that’d work.

Edit- oh, but he has a 16 team no trade list and seems stubborn as hell. So ya, good luck moving him.

Likely a very small market, the guy is a head case and likely a locker room cancer with his antics. He's not really a physical player anymore, he's prone to taking back penalties with a bad attitude. He can chip in a few goals but he's also directly responsible for as many against

e's a legitimate top 6 LW I'm sure there would be some interest. I xould see Toronto, Tampa and possibly Ottawa being interested depending on what happens with Giroux, maybe Boston too because I'm still not convinced they are embracing the rebuild.
Not a chance Ottawa has interest in the consummate cancer that he is

I'm just a fan of his game. You don't see that kind of physicality with goal scoring finesse that much anymore. For the right price every team in the league would be interested in him.
But are those overstated positives worth the other shenanigans? The whole LTIR investigation thing would be moot if you hadn't said anything to the media, my dude.

Goal scoring is overstated? I dunno about that. I came back - I mean Evander came back ;) from surgery, first game of the season was game 2 of the playoffs. He didn't play his best but still to come back from injury and play in the toughest games of the year is admirable. Everyone clapped when Landeskog did it, but when Evander does it he gets called a pos.

Unrelated but good to see you dude. Zero posts from mid April to June 17th. Hope whatever rock you crawled under while the Oilers were winning had wifi
I was enjoying the summer, it's been beautiful.

You were probably sitting inside like:
