Would depend on the price. Second line LW is the only opening we have available in our offense.

Should note that management will look at internal options first. Puempel/Dzingel/Paul/Lazar/Perron will likely all get looks. And Smith played with Ryan down the stretch last year and played well. No need to panic to this extent

This. I believe Dzingel will shine. The guy is fast, skilled, tenacious and seems to have great work ethic. He's ready and that's his best opportunity so far. Will have competition with Puempel for a LW job but don't think others will be in contention because :

- Perron is still very young and raw for pro hockey
- Lazar is a Center or RW, never played LW
- Paul is a shutdown Center who makes me think more and more about Couturier. Maybe he could start on LW if the need is there. Sens are also stacked at Center (Turris-Brassard-Pageau-Smith-Brown-White)

Mac may be injured. But I still want no part of Kane. I'd take Moulson before him.

Actually, if the Sabres are rich enough (which I think they are with Pegula), would they do?

Moulson is owed 13.0 which is less than MacArthur (18.6) so if Clarke CAN'T come back AND if the contract WAS NOT insured... then it would make sense... Buffalo get rid of cap hit and can LTIR MacArthur

Yeah but his salary (4.35) doesn't fit in the budget... MacArthur would need to go the other way and I doubt Winnipeg is in position to do things like that

MacArthur for Moulson makes sense, assuming Pegula is willing to pay 7M (difference between MacA and Moulson's contracts) to get rid of Moulson's cap hit.

This makes too much sense to happen. Pegula couldn't give a * what the cost is, it's all about the cap space. I also don't see it happening.
