Playoffs Points/game among active players. Kind of crazy to look at that list and really internalize it- McDavid and Drai are #1/2, but Bouch is #6, ahead of Crosby, Makar, Malkin, Guentzel. After Bouchard (#6) and Makar (#8), the next defenceman on the list is Karlsson at #30.

If crappy Bouchard shows up it's fair to call it out like it is. There is no immunity. Obviously him having this good of a post season will now by him more leeway, If we win the cup he gets even more..

Gonna go out on a limb and predict Bouch has a huge regular season next year. With his contract stress over, and knowing he was below his standard last year I think he hits the ground running next season.

Ekholm's highs are nowhere near Bouchard's highs and it's actually Ekholm's numbers that are more dependent on Bouchard than the other way around. Bouchard routinely humiliates the opposing team's top line/top pairing regardless of who he's playing with.

What I like that Bouchard is doing now he did not start doing till later this season is he is angiling of players rushing up in the neutral zone rather than backing in which was his achilles hill , 100% that was Coffey influenced as Coffey started to do that in his Career in his 3rd season
