Main thing for me with Bouch this year is the PP production. It's been historical all world the last 2 years but it has struggled a lot this year, and Bouch is a big part of that. He still makes the same brain dead mistakes as he always has from time to time, but they've been more than covered up by his production but especially on the PP. If he can ramp that up in the last part of the season, his points will explode and so will the rest of the guys on the unit. Last year, we had a bunch of guys in the top PP scorers. This year, McDrai hovering around 10th to 12th and then no one else. Getting that PP in order will turn a lot of these nailbiting OT and one goal tight finishes into 2 or 3 goal wins and reduce the cheek squeezing.

Even without his PP production he out produces his "mistakes"

Still at a whopping 0 goals on the powerplay and 15 assists. I know the refs hate giving us powerplays at all but its like he's been supernerfed out there on the PP and it might as well be a 3v4 as the other team dedicates a guy to pressure Bouch who in turn gives up the puck in some befuddling way as he still hasn't worked on his skating or stick skills enough to pull off some Quinn Hughes/Makar type quick pivot to some other f***in insane move to an actual GREAT pass to someone open which then gives the team a great chance. Bouchard has never really done THAT sort of play that makes me believe he is elite. He is lacking in that passing category posted by Rono (42 is good right guyssss) because of these indecisive moments and his flatfootedness that fries his brain and then he coughs up the puck when he really didn't need to.

He works on that little bit and his PP will go straight up I mean his Powerplay Goals and therefore we will all be happy.

I’m not sure if it was the same chart but I recall most of his assists were secondary as well. Couple that with his defensive brainfarts and he’s really taken a step back.
