Hallam hates Viktor Lodin. Picking Brome, Oscarsson and Sandin over Lodin makes zero sense.

Anyways, i would roll with;

Carlsson - Bengtsson
Ollas Mattsson - Heed
Lennström - Borgman
Själin - Nilsson

Sörensen - Wallmark - Fröden
Brome - Ejdsell - Strömvall
Wingerli - Olofsson - Brännström
Lindholm - De la Rose - Sandin
Hartmann, Oscarsson

My typical responses to follow:

1. EHT means nothing
2. This roster looks damn good for Euro standards.. especially the forward group.
3. Our Euro Czechs haven't looked this good in years.

While we may know Zboril and Hajek as 'busts' they are very capable Euro D near their peaks. I was curious if we'd see Klok who is also a very capable D who has now left the KHL for the NLA.

Speaking of NLA.. Kovar has extened for a few more years.

I'm pretty high on Korenar.

There is not one forward I don't like on this roster. Feels like a top 9 to me.

The benefits of Czechs busting out at NHL level is nice looking EHT rosters.lol

Eht matters, but not as much as wc of course. Dont be negative. Eht is classic, dont disrespect it.

Btw who is Sirota? New name for me.

EHT has hurt Czechs IMO

We always send our B team.. beat the Swedish/Finnish/whoever D teams. Then we decide those are our best players. Hit the World's and now Swedes/Finns/whoever have their B team and they beat us everytime.

Dancing on Julius Honka in the EHT is not the same as trying to beat Heiskanen at the World's.lol

I do enjoy it, in order of importance,

Best on best
Worlds
U20
Hlinka (bias)
U18
World Hockey Challenge
Spengler Cup
EHT

Champions League
local house league playoffs in my town

I don't know much about Sirota.. big boy, probably a defensive dman. Went the NCAA route which is an excellent route. I'm guessing he is David Musil lite but am happy to be corrected.

Grégory Hofmann returns to the Swiss team. Other than that a pretty experienced roster. Egli for the first time as SHL-player. Charlin already with his second call-up. Together with Ludovic Waeber who has returned from NA.

Torhüter (2): Stéphane Charlin (SCL Tigers), Ludovic Waeber (EHC Kloten)

Verteidiger (8): Dominik Egli (Frölunda HC / SHL), Lukas Frick (Lausanne HC), Andrea Glauser (Lausanne HC), Fabian Heldner (Lausanne HC), Sven Jung (HC Davos), Roger Karrer (Genève-Servette HC), Dean Kukan (ZSC Lions), Christian Marti (ZSC Lions)

Stürmer (14): Sven Andrighetto (ZSC Lions), Thierry Bader (SC Bern), Christoph Bertschy (Fribourg-Gottéron), Attilio Biasca (EV Zug), Fabrice Herzog (EV Zug), Grégory Hofmann (EV Zug), Ken Jäger (Lausanne HC), Marco Lehmann (SC Bern), Denis Malgin (ZSC Lions), Damien Riat (Lausanne HC), Sandro Schmid (Fribourg-Gottéron), Sven Senteler (EV Zug), Dario Simion (EV Zug), Calvin Thürkauf (HC Lugano)

Canada was part of EHT in the 90s and early 00s. Maybe they should be added back. There is many Canadiens playing in Europe.

I would love that. They'd have great teams. Only problem is that I think their best players in Europe are in KHL. I could be wrong though, I don't follow Canucks in Europe too closely.

58 Canucks in KHL this season.

21 in NLA

21 in Sweden too

Canada would probably win the EHT.

Lindblom and Silfverberg has declined. Brännström and Hartmann is in. Hallams hatred for Lodin is satanic.

Next tournament is in feb, in Sweden. Best possible team will be fielded according to Hallam. Thought Hallam wont be coaching, Hävelid will. Hallam is busy with 4 nations.

My team;

sörensen - wallmark - fröden
dahlen - lindberg - silfverberg
hållander - olofsson - steen
friberg - p.lindholm - lodin
Karlkvist, nygård

carlsson - heed
asp - bengtsson
Fantenberg - söderström
berglund - pilut

johansson
Källgren

What will happen; Folin, Pudas, Tömmernäs, Sellgren, Rasmussen, Bengtsson, Lang instead of Asp, Fanta, Carlsson, Söderström, Lodin, Karlqvist, Olofsson. Urgh.

I don't see much value but 3-0 and first overall at Xmas is nice. Now bring on the Spengler Gold and Juniors Bronze to complete my holidays please!

Rulik is in search of some fresh young blood this time. Last time we sent a strong Euro squad. This time an experimental young one. I applaud the move and lots of guys I'm happy to see including Reichel, Cibulka and Galvas. I love D. Kase as well. Not expecting many wins here but curious if he can unearth a good bottom 6er. I've always thought Reichel is suited to that.. fast as hell and very hard working.

Sigh. Dahlbeck made it. The guy is soft as butter. I remember he blocked me on Facebook when i told him to play more physical at wch 2021. Sensitive guy. I prefer Nemeth over him. A stay at home d should be physical, not scared of physical contact as Dahlbeck is.

And Hallams weird obsession with Ehn keeps going as does his hatred for Lodin.

Everberg and De la Rose....🤡

2 players from DEL. A swedish coach would never pick any players outside of SHL and NLA. Foolish.

Team Switzerland roster already released? Our roster is just boring. Seen those guys dozens of times already. Geneve guys must have been retired from the national team or they just don´t care anymore. Team Sweden looks strong, the best european based roster they have maybe?

We have been bad this EHT. Still missing Lodin, Silfverberg and Wallmark.

Some interesting names, love to see Cibulka there, dont know why Zabransky and Kucerik, those two are nowhere near NT level imo even at EHT.

And here me out, if we are trying young guys here, why not bring T.Galvas to harden at mens international level? He is playing 20+ minutes in Liberec and is ppg since he came back from WJC, clearly he is in form. A bit of a missed opportunity here imo.

I was thinking the same thing... get him on EHT and into some of the precamp games. Just for the experience. Especially if he's not going to be drafted.. he could be our next Ondrej Nemec.

Scary to think that Zabransky and Kucerik would've been top 4D for us at one of those U20 events we normally got smoked at. I like Zabransky to be honest. Still waiitng for Klikorka to be drafted.lol
