The NHL/ESPN actually had a good idea?

Hmm some nights there are only a handful of games or fewer and the start times can be staggered by 3+ Hours…unlike NFL Sundays where there are at least 8-10 games going on at 1:00 PM EST.

And as someone else mentioned hockey is much faster, goals can happen in an instant. Scores in football develop more gradually.

Interesting to see it’s implementation

Fantastic idea IMO. If the execution is half as good, could be a game changer!

As someone who is unfamiliar with the NFL Redzone, what would this actually look like?!

RedZone attempts to cover (often simultaneously with split screens) every high-leverage situation during the Sunday NFL games. A lot of cutaways and back-and-forths. It's fun.

If watching an NFL game is like an EKG, then RedZone is like experiencing a massive coronary.

Also should be mentioned it is entirely commercial free for 7 straight hours. I hope that would also be the case for this program.
