ESPN, 8pm ET Jr Hockey: Canada vs Russia

Until I hear Brickley's almost-comical Boston accent, I'm not convinced.
 
the other day with the USA/Russia game, my program guide still said World Championship Poker, even though the game was going on at that moment on the channel

anyways, boxing is scheduled on ESPN, but on ESPN2 it's just crap like ESPN100 and NBA Fast break...no feature stuff, maybe it'll be on that channel if it's on

I'd consider the boxing to be more crap than the NBA Fast Break, since these fights were...30 years ago.
 
:banghead: GREAT! Now the gold medal game isn't even on espn.com's ticker! And they also have both the Sugar AND Orange Bowls on ABC at 8ET. Two bowl games on at once? Now I don't what to believe.

Any TV updates, via TV ticker or talking heads yet? I'll check back later! Damnit!!

Yea, its not there anymore.

The Sugar Bowl was last night, btw.
 
As long as someone isn't pulling our leg, all I can say is THANK GOD! I haven't had a chance to see Sidney Crosby play for any length of time beyond brief clips.


P.S. For what it's worth, Boston University opened its new arena last night with a 2-1 win over the #1-ranked University of Minnesota, the second game of a doubleheader between the two. The first game on Sunday night was the last game in the old rink, the legendary Walter Brown Arena.

This is great to hear although it shocks the hell out of me that ESPN picked it up. All I can say now is go Canada go beat the hell out of the Russians. :yo:
 
Man, if they don't show this game tonight, I will never forgive ESPN.

I saw it with my owns eyes seventh period at school. I was having a crappy day, boring, I'm tired, and this is about the only good and interesting thing that happened.

Now I get home and it's off the ESPN homepage. If it's not on anymore, I'm going to be mad. :mad:
 
I just think they enjoy not airing hockey. I remember that up until the lockout officially started, they had 12 hours of hockey scheduled to air, on opening day, on ESPNClassic. The second the lockout became official, they rescheduled and aired a bunch of baseball documentaries in that timeslot.

You're probably right. That was only place that actually had the game listed and now it's gone. It's not even on the ticker of ESPN or ESPN 2 on television. Some stupid intern made a mistake of putting it up, got our hopes up and then crushed them. :mad:
 
I sent an email to get this game on. I mean it's just common sense, you can't expect people just to follow this tournament and now even being shown the end result of it. It's just common sense ESPN.

To show Classic boxing over this game well sicken me. ALthough the National championship game worries me Disney will want as many viewers as possible including those who rather watch a U-20 game.

I'm really really really hoping the game is on but I have serious doubts. :shakehead

Maybe when they said "What to look for" they just forgot to say "...on another channel" ;)

Sorry guys, I know how it feels to not be able to watch your game.
 
They better show this mother ****ing game, it's the last hockey game any of us will be seeing probably for a long time. As if I didn't hate ESPN enough.
 
This is unbealivable..first they said they were showing it then they canceled that? Wow. just WOW. Classic Boxing should be on ESPN CLASSIC...not on ESPN.

I get alot of channels that show College games. I have an FSN package and I get CSTV, so I get alot of hockey and you don't! :razz:
 
ESPN has listed 3 hours of Muhammad Ali boxing.. Your telling me they can't show these bouts later on, after the WJC game? Ridiculous. 3 HOURS! 70's BOXING!
