So Tennessee got Jones and a 6th for a 5th then less than two months later got a 4th for Jones. That's some quality asset management.
I remember Jones in LA, but not sure how he's been doing lately. He is on the final year of his rookie deal, so he does factor into the comp pick formula should Seattle let him walk at the end of the season. That's an instant upgrade for the Hawks' run D, fine with losing a 4th in the deal.
Raheem Morris was the Rams DC for all 3 of Jones years in LA. Morris left for the ATL HC job and now the new DC is Chris Shula, who was the LB coach with the Rams before the promotion to DC. So, a bit odd that he fell out of favour so quickly after the DC change. Not like it's an outside the team DC coming in.I'm really curious what spurred his being traded from the Rams in the first place.
