why are you guys putting so much stock in a random dudes twitter account?

I think they do make a move but it’s based on bringing in a forward with some years left

misiak coming back is a possibility, but if he does they will move him. no way they are moving sova that makes zero sense. why would guelph move allen as well?

What kind of market would a OA Import who wasn't even a PPG player have?

Not a large market, but there will be a team without two imports and Misiak better than one of their OAs.
Like Flint currently, they could move on from Smith and use Misiak as the top centre.

I'd be fine with Saginaw taking him for cheap. Have an open import and OA spot possibly. 50 point forward to round out the top 6. would be ironic too since we originally drafted him but had to let his rights go.

Misiak would likely accumulate significantly more than 50 pts in the top six than he did in Erie as the third centre behind Fimis and and Terrance getting all the PP time

Fair point with one correction. He was on the #1 powerplay unit for the most part.

I agree he SHOULD get more that 50. Just saying he hovered around 50 and I’d hazard to guess most GM’s would throw out first offers as if he is a 50 pt guy. You don’t start high and go higher.

Decent return if they can get the prospect to sign. Deadline this year is going to be pretty tame this year with all these deals going down before pre season.

Frasca to Erie for 2 2nds, 2 3rds, a 4th and a 10th round swap

Once again DB trading all future picks to win now at all costs. The gamble with this trade and the Sova trade are desperation. We can only hope as fans we are on the good side of the trades for once, otherwise we've sold our souls for mediocrity.

We still do have Spence, Schaefer, and Fimis as bailouts if things go south.

Spence and Schaefer won’t be traded. Fimis is definitely the insurance

Only one of those 3 that won’t be back next year

A lot of draft picks to cough up, really. Granted DB can never hit on the second rounders, it’s still alot to give up. We better win that.

With the frasca trade they’re probably not banking on him being a star right away but he should still put up around a point per game on the second line. This year and 2025/26 is likely when they’re aiming on making a run. Spence and Schaefers dy and dy+1 and then when they move on they can trade frasca and get some picks back

I don't think they'd be traded, but IF something goes south and we aren't performing, those 3 would be at face value, the biggest fish we have. Alfano perhaps could be added to the list as well as Edwards and Molnar but feel as though those 3 are slightly less of value than the 3 I mentioned.

Frasca will probably be on the 3rd line this season.

Do you see him moving to wing? That would likely be the only way he cracks the 2nd line this season barring an injury to Terrance or Fimis.

I agree he's more of a future consideration and if he stays at center is the likely replacement for Fimis assuming he progresses the correct way.
