Didn't really make contact so....Unbelievable. Lisandro goes for the 2 footed stomp of death and doesn’t see red…
Doesn’t mean it wasn’t insanely dangerous…Didn't really make contact so....
Hence the yellow. Only made contact with the ball. As I said, stupid thing to do anyway.Doesn’t mean it wasn’t insanely dangerous…
- another under the radar masterclass from Caicedo
United play on Wednesday, got to rotate.Weird subs from Utd, Zirkzee in particular. Their build-up game pretty much disappeared after that.
It was more of an orange for me because he didn't make contact, but that tackle would have torn ligaments and broken bones if he did. Pretty absurd reffing once again since a red is justified, but I understand the yellow.Unbelievable. Lisandro goes for the 2 footed stomp of death and doesn’t see red…
I don’t think they were lucky. It was like 3.5 vs. 0.5 xG.Spurs were decent and lucky, which I will greedily take.
You're basically never going to get a red in the PL if you don't make contact with a player regardless of how awful the challenge was.It was more of an orange for me because he didn't make contact, but that tackle would have torn ligaments and broken bones if he did. Contact with the ball doesn't matter, according to the letter of the law.Hence the yellow. Only made contact with the ball. As I said, stupid thing to do anyway.
That's usually applied when there's also contact with a player. In this case there wasn't any. Also one could make a case that it wasn't a tackle per se but some weird attempt at trapping the ball?Contact with the ball doesn't matter, according to the letter of the law.
It's either no yellow or a red.Hence the yellow. Only made contact with the ball. As I said, stupid thing to do anyway.
With the delay, I thought it might be non-reviewable. Then there was a review. I throw my hands up.Vicario should have been sent off at 2-1
By the letter of the law, contact is not required. That's usually applied when there's also contact with a player. In this case there wasn't any. Also one could make a case that it wasn't a tackle per se but some weird attempt at trapping the ball?
Nah, handling the ball outside the box is yellow, he wasn't the last defenderVicario should have been sent off at 2-1
He's a bad bad man.Finished refereeing some ECNL matches this morning to see that Jhon Durán scored as a substitute yet again.
Completely agree on the violent conduct thing, but the PL just ain't gonna call them that way unless it's something that's like trying to Shawn Michaels Sweet Chin Music someone.A violent action doesn't have to be successful in order to be violent. It absolutely should've been a red, even if (luckily!) his opponent was not hit by it.
With regards to Vicario - I thought a keeper handle outside of the box in such a scenario was a red, regardless of last man/DOGSO? But maybe I'm just fully wrong on that.
