Let's see. We've got a couple European six pointers in Brentford (hosting Brighton), Palace (hosting Bournemouth), and Villa (hosting Newcastle). We also have Fulham welcoming Chelsea for a London Derby and I guess that's kinda a big match for Europe, too. Relegation wise, West Ham will need to pick up 3 points to really free themselves from a relegation fight, although Ipswich and Leicester both face top table sides. Oh also Tottenham could easily end up in 17th after this matchweek.

If Ipswich win (lol), Liverpool can clinch the title on Sunday if they win. Any other result(s) from those games takes it at least another week. Also pretty sure if West Ham win on Saturday, Leicester will be relegated before they kick off

That should really be the headline

Why is that taking a risk? They aren't being relegated even if they lose every game 10-0 and they aren’t getting European places based on league performance even if they win every game 10-0.

There’s no reason not to be giving the kids a look even if they had been eliminated on Thursday.
I think the "risk" being that getting outplayed could affect the kids confidences or cause injuries to them, maybe.

Controversial moment in Villa-Newcastle. With Villa already 1-0 up from the 1st minute Schar makes a last defender foul, but only gets a yellow for it (I guess Watkins wouldn't have gotten to that ball before Pope did, but I've seen those given before as a red). As fate has it a couple minutes lates Schar is the one who ties the game.

Really impressive win by Villa.

Recalled Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins took out his anger on Newcastle United on Saturday with a dazzling display in his side's 4-1 victory in the Premier League.

It was quite a statement from Watkins after the England forward had found himself on the bench in five of Villa's last six games, including both legs of the Champions League quarterfinal against Paris Saint-Germain, with manager Unai Emery opting for on-loan forward Marcus Rashford instead.

"So I think the manager's got a little bit of a headache because I'm banging on his door saying why am I not playing," former Brentford striker Watkins told Sky Sports.

"We've put in a lot of hard graft the last few years to get to that position. And obviously I played 20 minutes against PSG in both games. I'm not going to lie. I was fuming I wasn't playing and I let him know that.
