Meh. I don’t think City missing UCL does much for them. I don’t think it stops any of their transfer plans and it probably helps them in the league because they’ll punt Europa league/just do what Chelsea did and not register their A players for at least the group stages.

The interesting thing to me is how these teams handle CWC because that’s going to be a disaster

What I mean is it would be far runnier to see City playing in the Europa league, regardless of what type of team they field, not that it would actually have financial impacts for them since they'll just make up extra sponsorships to make up the financial impact.

One day Murillo will score on one of those worldie attempts. Glad they battled back hard in the second half and didn’t just collapse like the Bournemouth game. Too bad they were completely switched off to start the game
 
Honestly I think it was less battling back from us, and more Villa just sitting off with half an eye on the champions league mid week, and it's hard to wrestle momentum back when you've given it up in this league.

Would it? It would be completely meaningless, I certainly wouldn't much care at this point. The individual losses would sting of course, but 2nd or 3rd means nothing

League has been won for weeks and you still can't get us out of your head :)

Would be so funny if the refs f***ed us all the way down to 3rd instead of just 2nd.

Don’t flatter yourselves I am in transit to vacation. Not much else going on at the moment.

But yeah to me going from the refs cost us 1st, to the refs cost us 2nd; that would be very funny.

The reality is still pretty funny to me though as it is.

Injuries cost us 1st. The refs did their best (and continue to do their best) to help though.
