I feel like RvP(and Carrick) dragged United to their last title more than Salah is currently dragging Liverpool to this one. I just think everyone after Liverpool has just been... not very good this year.

Which isn't to discredit Salah and the year he's having, but Liverpool just has a really good team in every position.

I don't care about other year. We're talking about the fact you're hyping him to be all godly this year.
And yes in Liverpool's biggest game (let's be realistic, this is knockout stage game between the two most in form teams in Europe) and CLEARLY his mistake defines his performance that game. Nobody on the pitch made as big a mistake. And that mistake was totally unreal live and on replays.
Marquinhos/Mendes/Donnaruma disagree with the biggest 'mistake' in that game. Take your pick.

If I were to rank the big mistake in that specific game: 1. Mendes, 2. VVD, 3. Donnaruma, 4. Marquinhos, 5. Barcola/Neves missing the net.

He has been 'godly', and it is quite ridiculous to take one bad action that did not even resulted in a goal to define a whole season. Which is why it is nitpicking.

Nope, nope and nope. Easily VVD's. By FAR.

What % of his team's goals RVP accounted for?

best video breakdown of the LFC goal. Mendes was sleeping and let in a free goal opportunity at Elliott and unlike the VVD mistake this one resulted in a goal against and a loss to psg. Elliott had no reason to be that wide open when Mendes way ahead of him.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure. But that United team was not great, relatively old and was heavily carried by Carrick and RvP. This Liverpool team is good. They have arguably the best goalie in the world, one of the best CB pairing in the world, very very good CM's in Gravenberch, and obviously plenty of attacking talent in Salah, Diaz, and Jota.

I just think this Liverpool team, at least their starting XI is really good.

As opposed to that United team who was regularly starting Tom Cleverly, an aging Ferdinand, and Johnny Evans.

None of that is important as having the leagues refs in your back pocket.

Opposition can have zero injuries all year, optimal scheduling etc, how can anyone beat that level of corruption?.
You're not understanding the entire discussion of corruption. The refs are not "pro" any team, they are more "anti" certain clubs such as Arsenal. As long as Arsenal doesn't win the EPL title for FA, then its a good job done. If there is any club out there that gets pro ref treatment, it is by far and away, Manchester United and not Liverpool. The refs are doing their best to not get them relegated as they are trying to make the gap between Liverpool and Arsenal as wide as possible (to prevent Arsenal from winning).

Same difference. If the refs have something against you, good luck with all of it. Even with everything else in your favour.

So, there’s no point to discuss injuries or scheduling etc. The league has it in for you. Not worth going into anything else.

Not really, Arsenal has every chance to win the EPL title, but we need a ton of talent so we can beat both the opposing team and the refs all in the same year. FA is corrupt, but they can only do a certain amount of corruption not be found out by the general public, but more importantly, by independent detective/surveillance sources that have no ties to football. That means spending 200 million this transfer window to get WC talent.

That’s not likely to happen, is it? Too many things to fight against.

So, just accept your place in this world, and move on. Or, give us more joy in watching all the bitterness. Because it does add to the joy.

I’m just saying, after knowing a league’s governing body is keeping you down, much of the conversation past that is useless.

The thing is the corruption is too deep for Arsenal to win. I’m thinking can’t they just pay the refs?

I don’t think there’s enough money they could pay

Whoever is behind this (or any sort of corruption) doesnt care about money. It’s about emotion. They just have a hate for Arsenal, and that’s where it ends.

They’re stupid, like us.

Bruv, these refs are breathed and trained to be anti Arsenal from childhood. Some are absolutely trained akin to Agent Smith from the Matrix movies (like how most are pro-Man United because they were all teenagers/young adults during SAF's era). Not only that, but are you surprised that most of these refs have villas in Monaco out of all places? No referee's salary is able to afford a summer home in Monaco to be honest. We've seen refs throw matches in other sports all the time, especially during the golden age of the Mob in America. Why do we all think this sort of nefarious human nature has just "disappeared?"

All the refs know their job and they are told before the game whether they need to make a play to prevent Arsenal from winning. It just isn't in Arsenal games, but in other matches that directly affect Arsenal's standings in the table. However, it isn't every game. I would say that 90 to 97% of the matches are called fair, but the remaining 3-5% is definitely corruptable. Again, they have to pick their spots because they know they will be found out if they do it all the time.
