Edit - so apparently because Southampton made a concussion sub (they got a 6th sub) in the first half, LFC was also allowed an extra sub. This rule is news to me.

This would be a right match for Nkunku to make a positive impact on Chelsea's campaign. If he can't cut it even against struggling Leicester, there isn't much hope left for him being a regular starter for Chelsea in the future.

I feel like he's escaped a lot of criticism this season despite being awful in the league, because he's racked up a lot of goals against terrible Conference League competition.

He was also awful covering defensively on the second goal that was called back for an earlier offside.
