I mean he gaslit Darwin in the press conference today, and also basically said he has no wingers at the suggestion of Chiesa. Elliott has barely played since his injury and didn’t look trusted before hand. He knew he didn’t trust these players over a month ago, has gone out of his way not to play this guys. Had a chance to do something about it, did nothing.

Our best route at this point is just winning all of our home games. If Arsenal passes them it’s over. Every thing broke our way until December. Everything’s broken Arsenal’s way since Saka injury. Still a long way to go but the math is getting less and less friendly

The logic that we turned down the Saudi money because there was no replacement was sound. What’s insane was not having a replacement ready to go. There were clearly guys available too. They completely botched January under the facade of being busy with the extensions, and didn’t get any of those done either so it’s just a tough pill to swallow. This was all very avoidable
