What I have just watched?

I know the EPL is very competitive but LFC the past 3 games have been an horrible watch. Either they play scared, or nervous or they don't compete at all but this is unacceptable again for a club like it fold like this.
It's a bad choice of lineup, simple as that.

One might even saying they're choking. Although we all know that it's impossible for Liverpool to choke.

They make the same defensive errors every game. Got away with it earlier in the season but coming to roost now. I just feel like the lines are wrong or something. The positioning is just so goofy

It’s a choke. This is also the time when LFC is most likely to be dropping points (and the time that Arsenal is most likely gaining them) but they’ve just been hemorrhaging points since December. If I can say if it’s not a choke. I have to say if it is a choke. This is a choke

To be fair, the mentality of the squad is horrible. They have been carried by two players for the greater part of the year. The midfield is getting tired for being overplayed.
I knew Aston Villa and Man City would be the key for winning the title but as of right now they have failed.

Slot very clearly only has like a dozen-ish players that he trusts. No one else gets relevant burn. Diaz probably sitting because he has looked shattered and they are saving him for City but they are going to have to use him now.

I get not selling Darwin to Saudi because there was no replacement, but if like if they aren’t going to play him they should have been looking a hell of a lot harder

So I don’t necessarily agree that these games are key. I still think LFC’s best route to the title is winning all their home games. They needed that Everton game because we are going to be in free fall. The key game is going to be the Newcastle game at Anfield in a week. We could be done after that. Eventually we are going to need to find SOMETHING on the road, and yeah Arsenal basically need to be perfect, but they are going to have to win all their home games

Yes. Same story as last year but with a different manager. They are a farce. What is the point of playing amazing for 19 games and then fall off like that? Last year, the excuse was Klopp leaving. It is pretty clear that some players are not up to it. As @Savant said, they always say we will revise the team in the summer and refuse to sell Nunez well that might cost them another title. They also have no excuses as Man City have shown, it's possible to get new players in January.

Yeah we definitely blew this off the field in January. On the field it’s set pieces and defensive lines. It’s funny that we wanted to hire a set piece coach, but never did. That would be making a huge difference right now. The off the ball setup is baffling

City had the Alvarez money in the bank which helped them buy in January, but the biggest reason why they should have bought in January is Liverpool themselves. They’ve had many January success stories. There was no excuse not to, and I don’t understand betting on Joe Gomez staying healthy. And since none of the extension got done, there is no excuse for the inactivity either.

Team just looks shattered right now and it’s only February. Slot only wants to play 13 guys and it’s obvious. This isn’t an on-field talent problem. (Except at LB where we thing two average Lb together equal one good enough Lb) This is off field negligence.

I really don't get the Liverpool is terrible and meeting their demise discourse.

You definitely don't look as good as you did in the early part of the season but you keep finding ways to stay in games and get results.

Literally as I'm typing this you score haha.

Too early for all the doom and gloom by Liverpool fans.
Draw here may as well be a loss

It’s easier to see from the inside

Yeah I don't pay attention to it. It's a tough away game. We're not playing Ipswich.

Also, saying the team is tired is a convenient excuse. They're the first team to every single second ball here, every deflection. I don't see tired.

It’s compounded because of the dropped points against Everton. Need to find those extra two points somewhere else. Can’t lose the math advantage. If you aren’t ruthless against the bottom of the table (Everton, United, etc) you need to find those points somewhere else

100%. Villa Park is a tough away day.

Getting a point out of this feels like a good result to me, especially when you consider the run of games you are in. Who knows, you still may come away with all 3.
A point at Villa Park is not good I’ve you’ve dropped three at Goodison and your next game is at Man City.

Easier to see or are you just more stressed about each and every moment when you are on the inside? ;)

It never feels comfortable when you are on top. The thought of everything slipping away is a prominent one.
I am annoyed because I saw this coming, and it was avoidable

And Darwin Nunez is going to take years off my life

They have only lost 1 game at home all year and it was in August. Obviosuly you want to win every match but its not easy coming here and leaving with all the spoils.
