Because of the Carabao Cup, we get a bonus midweek match, when title favorites and PGMOL darlings Liverpool try to avoid another blatant red card in Birmingham. The matchweek kicks off in earnest with a Friday match in Leicester. We also get a relegation scrap in Ipswich and at Goodison Park, as well as a few London derbies, with Arsenal hosting West Ham and Fulham hosting Crystal Palace. We also get a lot of big matches for Europe, with Villa hosting Chelsea, Newcastle welcoming Nottingham Forest, and Man City hosting Liverpool.

City resting Haaland midweek for the LFC game

LFC x Villa going to be sloppy. LFC playing all 4 of the midfielders that Slot likes in the XI. Darwin stays buried. Diogo needs to get going and stay on his feet

They aren’t resting him for that. He picked up a knock last game.

They have a better chance to get through Madrid today than to catch lfc. They should make top 4 without needing to win on Sunday

I mean, let’s just say if it was Ipswich at the weekend, I am pretty sure Haaland is playing today

Pep is cooking up something nasty for us because Anfield hurt his feeling last time

What I have just watched?

I know the EPL is very competitive but LFC the past 3 games have been an horrible watch. Either they play scared, or nervous or they don't compete at all but this is unacceptable again for a club like them to fold like they have.

Also on Slot, I have been greatly impressed in the first half of the season but very dissapointed in the 2nd half. He seems to try playing too much of the wing and with passive football. Not to mention all the goals conceded off free kicks/corners.
