I said what I said. I stand by it. Iraola opens them up and they turn a lot of those draws into wins. And I don’t think you have to sacrifice much D.

But like Iraola on like Tottenham Would be such a waste. He can and should get a better job.

And he gets a ton of shit but Richard Hughes made the two best manager hires of the last two years

I have often toyed with the thought that Arteta made our team better but maybe a Raya-style switch to another coach would get us over the line. You know, Artetisson Arteta. But he'd have to like lose the room in some disastrous way, it's not really a realistic scenario, and after all the work he's put in, I have to have faith he's our man

Arteta's problems are in the transfer market, not on the pitch. And it simply isn't just his fault; it has been a loaded problem for Edu and everyone else in the suits. Not pursuing harder after Isak is pretty much the biggest loss we've had, more so than losing to anybody in the actual sport.

This is the problem with Arsenal. Everything is someone else’s fault

What? No, it's the front office of Arsenal's fault. Edu, Arteta, Arsenal's scouts, and Arsenal's transfer representatives. Isak should have been a must-have transfer and we would've won at least one title the last two years and would be first place this year challenging with you lot.

Would have. Could have. Should have. Whatever makes you feel better.

well thats rich
I mean I wrote this and the next post, listed everyone from Edu to Isak. I will give SEPH credit for not mentioning the refs in that paragraph though; but we’ve have enough equity built up in that for a while I guess

You definitely don't complain about FSG all the time and how they hobble your acquisitions and keep you from competing. But no, don't respond, I already know, when you write things it's just the truth but when other people write things it's excuses

No Van de Ven in Spurs squad. Please don't tell me he got injured again...
It looks like anyone who isn't close to 100% didn't make the squad. I think Ange wants as many of his 'starters' to go against Liverpool this week as possible.

Not that it will help, I can't see Spurs advancing.

Well we do compete though. And we win things too. We win things in spite of that. That’s the difference. Also when I complain about the transfer market it’s usually not because we had a nine figure window; so I don’t think it’s the same. Being strict about net spend does hobble the team, but we won trophies despite it.

Djed Spence is single-handedly holding the lead for Spurs. And that's on his off-flank. What a redemption arc.

PMS puts it away and Spurs are looking at their first PL win in ages.

Sarr has been great for Palace, excellent pass to Munoz to set that goal up.

Onana yet again weak on the first goal.
That was more on the whole defense or no one bothering to cover Mateta. Onana barely got even a fingertip on the header. Or is Onana being too short his fault? I'm not sure what else was he supposed to do in that situation?
