Halftime notes-

- Did not think that was a penalty, but what a ball that was to Gakpo. Harsh to Bournemouth who might be the second best team in the league. If these aren’t the two best teams in the league, these are the two most fun teams in the league. Don’t think this ends 0-1.

- He hasn’t been as bad as he was in the Utd game, but it’s been pretty close for Trent. Not locked in defensively at all. No idea where to go. I’d do Bradley at halftime if he wasn’t coming off a bad midweek

- LFC have been linked with Kerkez (summer 05) and he would 100% start for them day one. If they could do that deal now, he probably would be a player that would increases their league win probability even more

- Huijsen starts for every team in the league except LFC and Arsenal (and maybe Forest). He’s awesome

- typical LFC away with them starting slowly and then hitting the gas. Szoboszlai and Gravenberch running this game.

- LFC getting a ton of shots but needs more hot sauce. Getting those cross field headers all game but chances falling to the wrong people

- The USA commentators are absolutely atrocious

- also going to dedicate a bullet point to Dango Ouattara’s “hair”

Szoboszlai has been average at best though. Losing the ball carelessly a couple time already.

To be fair to Bournemouth. They have looked like the better side in the first half. Semenyo/Kerkez are the obvious threat. I do not even remember one attack from the other side.
Huijsen is going to be world class eventually. Rare to see a guy his size with his mobility and technical ability.
