I think that hit Ake's foot, which is why it bounced so high. I think Ramsdale would have otherwise had it covered. Also looked like Haaland may have been marginally offside. No harm no foul.

Not that deep and you know it, so stop it
Apparently it is that deep to you, given that all your posts here have come today.

One team in it so far. City lucky to be level.

Pep has his team all wrong and not a single player looks like they know what their doing. He's just barking orders at them the entire half. ON top of having Silva as a defender his dependence on Grealish to carry the "attack" is bemusing.

The more times I see the penalty play the more I laugh at how awful Ederson is at protecting his goal. There's absolutely zero reason for him to charge out to try to block that shot. Guard his near post and let the defenders do their job and it's a pretty easy save, worst case you give up a corner.

f***ing hell. If u give a pen its a 2nd yellow.

Awful awful refs
This is the most truthful post I've ever read on here. If you're going to give that a penalty, that has to be a card as well. It was a straight-up body tackle even if I think that wasn't really a penalty since Eddie got his shot off. Perhaps it was done in too short of a timeframe since he was ending his follow through from his shot.

Hating fanbase vs. hating a team that's ruining football hmmm that's an easy choice there. I hope they relegate City down a few tiers after they lose the league.

Glad Anthony Taylor is focused on just where the throw is taken from.

It's one of those things where it's deeply stupid from both sides.

Why does it matter if he steals 5 yards at that point on the field, no one cares. But also he's already told Tomiyasu where it needed to be taken from, why is Tomiyasu running forward, just throw the ball in.

As long as you're consistent that you can take players out right after they play the ball, then I'll buy it.
Not a PK. Standing by it

I'd say pushing a sideline player who is intentionally keeping the ball away from you is a totally fine thing to do.

Don't want to get a weak push? Don't try to play keepaway from a player while he's trying to grab a throwin.
Yeah it's not that he's the wrong one in the situation, but I think he should just go get the ball and continue instead of wasting more time.
