GWT: EPL - Matchweek 23

That decision to play two broken cbs against Chelsea is brilliant now.

although watching their game I’m trying to figure out if they have replenished their squad recently. Just solanke?

We added a keeper this month...that's it.

They'll probably sack him after Liverpool inevitably beat us and we get knocked out of the FA cup. Not backing him this month is just Levy/ENIC hanging him out to dry.

Ange is not infallible. He's made mistakes that have cost us. But I also think he's had terrible luck with injuries and the club have not sufficiently backed him. We have the lowest payroll in relation to income, and our chairman makes one of the highest salaries in the league. The ownership are a real estate firm that happen to own a football club. They simply do not care unless the heat starts getting too much for them. Then they sack a manager and the cycle continues.

Yeah I’d agree. I think spurs fans should just accept this is it in terms of ownership ambition. They are content with not winning anything of note.

They also signed Odobert and Gray this summer. Odobert suffered a major injury pretty quickly. Gray has been good considering the circumstances. He's exhausted from all the games he's been playing as of late though.

Edit: Oh yeah, they let Werner come back for another season too. To be completely honest, I was fine with it based on his performance last season, but he's been terrible.

A big section of the fan base are making their thoughts known. There were loud "Levy Out" chants during the game.

But a lot of the match going fans are either not interested or they're Son fans and not really Spurs fans per se.

Fulham doing a good job of pressuring the ball carrier in the final third and United just have no idea how to properly deal with it.
While Höjlund's not taking care of the ball enough, he's also not getting any help from the ref. He's getting absolutely manhandled/obstructed more than a few times and nothing.

Half the Man U players care more about the pay check than winning. ..

How many times has he been sent off for united
At least twice? f*** if I know. But if you got 11 guys jumping in two footed every game, they’re gonna connect. I know you feel a need to jump into the defense of every Argentinian player and I respect that and I do love Lisandro’s mentality but f*** he needs to be smarter. This is at least the fifth time I’ve seen him attempt a two footed stamp on a player this season. It’s just a weird choice of a tackle that he needs to cut out of his game. Until he does he is always a risk to get sent off.

He’s an absolute psycho on the field. Lives and dies by the sword
