I have not watched all the Spurs game but I thought they played very well defensively against LFC in the cup. I am surprised by their recent results. What happened since then?
I don’t think Liverpool looked like they cared particularly much

Chelsea got a good cross in, but Cucurella is the wrong guy trying to be at the end of those. That's the wrong option, even if it is Maresca's tactics for him to make those attacking surges.

No need to be tactically stubborn just for the sake of it.

Decent Palmer shot, but nobody close enough to score an easy empty netter from Jose Sa's block stop.

Wolves players are making quite a few hard tackles, Caicedo got a knock, Palmer limped a bit for a while. Those two are the players can't afford to lose for any length of time, with all the injuries already.

I like when the refs delay the corner to do the performative "c'mon lads let's not make this a scrum" and then proceed to allow things to continue fully as is.

Anyway, that's poor from Sanchez and an annoying goal to give away.

That's especially infuriating because we've been really good defending corners this year and Sanchez has been really good on crosses.

Strangely enough, though, I kinda feel better going into the second half level rather than in the lead. Can't throw away a lead in the second half if you don't have it.

They said on the NBC halftime show that somehow scoring might have been the worst thing to happen to Chelsea because then they were stuck not knowing if they should sit back and defend the lead or keep pushing forward.

I mean, that's been Chelsea over these last five games right? We score early, and then our game management is a total mess. So yeah, not necessarily a bad thing to be level at half.

Dear left-footers receiving the ball in space in the left edge of the box:

You are allowed to drive it far post with your laces! People have scored goals like that! You don't need to float a cross!

Nkunku, Felix, and Sancho for Palmer, Neto, and Madueke please.

Palmer is clearly half-fit. Play Nkunku in the 10 and see what happens.
Neto’s such a disappointment. I know he was the backup choice to Olise but I genuinely did not think he was a significant downgrade. I thought Neto would be better and really shine.
