It sucks. Everything about that sucked. But idk, my understanding has always been that the mistake has to be that the on field decision is a clear and obvious miss.

Technically, he caught his trailing leg and delap waited for that clip before going down. He was looking for it, but he didn’t start diving before

If you think he would have as poorly with Liverpool's material, you're out to lunch. I don't know if Liverpool's material is suited for 3-4-3 but their material is much better than United's.

You’re not wrong. He’s more than a little naive. But I don’t think anyone can put much faith in it unless he’s given time to overhaul everything. My issue with it probably is the geniuses in charge should have likely gone caretaker, then made the appointment summer or when he could have had an actual training break.
