It's basically holiday fixture time! The week starts off with a tough challenge for one time title contenders, Man City, who head to Birmingham to face a rival for top 4, Aston VIlla. Also on Saturday, we get a London derby, when Crystal Palace host Arsenal. On Sunday, we might actually see a title contender at Goodison Park, when Chelsea take on the Toffees. Meanwhile, Spurs will look to carry their attacking form into their match against Liverpool, who've yet to beat a top half team on the road (though, to be fair, Spurs likely won't be top half by kick off either). On the back end of the table, we have a relegation six pointer when Leicester host Wolves.

Happy solstice!

“Liverpool haven’t beaten a top half side away all season” is a wild stat to pull given that the only top half away game they’ve had this year was at the Emirates

Liverpool haven’t beaten a side above them in the table this season either

LFC certainly need to get back in the win column. While the recent draws in context of the the games is not terrible, the math isn’t going to get better. It’s kind of a shame that they were a keeper error in one game and terrible officiating in the other game away from an extra four points, but the table is the table and that’s soccer. Need to take the slow starts back off the menu
