Then and there
Where does Guardiola go from here? Is he really going to honour his renewed contract?

If so, does he start the clearout of players in January or only next summer? What kind of players they are able to attract if they miss out CL?

He's desperately hoping City get some really bad PR with the 115 or 130 charges so he has a good reason to back out.

They’ll make CL and even if they don’t they have the pulll.

Will a total squad overhaul in the transfer market even work? the key variable in City being where they are right now is that their post-treble transfer business has been absolutely wretched

They really don’t neeed an overhaul. They need to replace Rodri with (Rodri) and KDB. And a reset

That’s 8 defeats in their last 11 matches. Ironically their only win in that stretch was against Forest whom they are now behind.

Quick thought. If Man City does not win anything, are not qualified to European competition and punished for their 130 charges (like relegation). What pourcentage of their 'fanbase' would jump ship?

it’s not only key pieces missing or players declining.
They’re clearly not as mentally sharp as a unit as they’ve been.
They really should’ve been able to close this one out.
Generally, they really should be able to stop the bleeding better than they have.

Crazy how bad City have been, just there to be got at if teams go for it (which we annoyingly didn't). Really do wonder if they got bad news internally about the outcome of their legal nonsense with the league

Spurs wrapping up the match early, 3-0 after 14 mins.

Sulemana subbed off immediately after the third goal, maybe they're trying to do some damage limitation and no longer believe in comeback, but it's still weird to take off an attacker this early.
