Midweek matchweek, and a doozy! We have relegation six pointers (Ipswich-Palace; Everton-Wolves), we have top 4 battles (City-Forest), we have traditional rivalries (Arsenal-United); we have a tough road match for the title favorites (Newcastle-Liverpool), we have a midtable stumbling block for Spurs (Bournemouth-Spurs). What more could you want in the midweek?

Midweek fun!

Got a message from my Brighton family asking what it's like having 2 family teams fighting for the title haha. Funny how a little bit of perspective works, Brighton side of the fam is pumped about 23 points and my Arsenal side is annoyed and frustraded with 25.

Hopefully both clubs win this week

Didn't go too well for him last time 'round, tbf.

Shaw is also out, so I guess Yoro might actually be called upon
He got injured or rather his existing injury surfaced. He had just played the first half vs Rangers and looked by far the best CB United have had in a decade. Good passer and mobile for his size and with untapped physical potential (still a bit skinny). Good thing the injury was handled with surgery and not the recurring muscle injury that Shaw seems to have.

Slot is saving Trent for the Derby, so Quansah (or Gomez) is playing RB today. For Newcastle, Isak is healthy and starting

Then and there
Lumley makes some amends, Palmer was through but Lumley guided the shot into post with his hand. And then Chelsea hit the bar from the following corner.

Chelsea looks to be relatively well in control of the ball and match.

Seem to have recovered from the silliness of the first 15 minutes. Felix looks to be really buzzing today.
