he is but it’s not an excuse and doesn’t explain the bad stretch

The mainstream media want people to believe that City = Rodri

Pep has had all the time in rhw world to make adjustments and find solutions
He’s not abandoning how he plays. Pep is a lot of things but he won’t change. For what it’s worth, the attack has also gone a bit stale. Whether that’s because new guys or what, it’s a tough sell.

Score today flattered Man City. Could have dropped a dozen between them and Real Madrid in less than a week.

I think Slot was saving the Gakpo LW / Diaz 9 formation for this game (after finding it vs Leverkusen), and managed a great game. I really liked having Quansah at RB to finish the game instead of moving Gomez midgame; which could have definitely unbalanced them especially vs Haaland. Very impressed today.

LFC have a very rough schedule until Boxing Day, but if they come out strong out of that and can survive the defensive injuries, there is a league to be won.

I know wbs mentioned it earlier, but a string of good games for Enzo and that's his best form in nearly two years. I'd been waiting to see the set up they went with today with Caicedo dropping into RB. It never seemed feasible in a world where you had a healthy Reece James & Gusto, but with Reece being meaningless to this team now, it was cool to see

And yeah, Cucurella is a monster out there rn

Yes. This Liverpool side has had some injuries
As Slot said in his press conference, (paraphrasing) 'no one talks about your injuries when you are doing well'

Harvey missed 3 months. Chiesa 2+ months and has barely played. Diogo over a month. These three should be back soon-ish but we have three defenders on crutches right now.

Alisson missed two months, and like you kind of just have to stick with Kelleher until he loses...right?
