Which players do you consider morons?
The only player in United’s XI today that I can confidently, assuredly say has high football IQ is also physically washed and therefore a liability.

And it’s Eriksen, not Casemiro.

(I’m trolling a bit, but my list of “high IQ” United players would basically be Eriksen, Fernandes, Mount, and potentially Mazraoui and Mainoo)

Mazraoui? Lol

Yes? You'd really have to be stupid to think Mazraoui has poor IQ of all things because it's not his physique that's gotten him where he is. Guy's changed positions over the years, has been able to pitch in just about anywhere on the field.

Let me guess - wrong skin color and nationality, huh?

I only put him potentially just because I haven’t seen enough of him, whereas the guys i can say with certainty I’ve seen dozens and dozens of games worth. Hes probably been United’s best player this year (low bar)

You can't rely on him to stay healthy and he's not going to game-break but he's pretty good on both sides of the pitch and has pretty good offensive instincts. He's pretty much a swiss army knife of a player, the complete opposite of a non-IQ guy.

I don’t disagree but I don’t think I’ve ever seen jussi single out a player and I think he’s defended them all individually.

Thank you Spurs, lol! What an awesome beatdown that was to watch.

Yeah, we need a #9. Arsenal murdered Forest and the score should've been 4-0 by the first half. How we came away with just a one goal first-half and a final score of three to nil is actually quite ludicrous. Considering how utterly dominant and amazing we were, this should've been a 6-0 thrashing. Every player looked great, but I thought Calafiori was an absolute force out there. What a freaking presence that we haven't seen in like a month. Likewise with Odingaard who was my MOTM, but I needed to mention Riccardo since his play would have gone unnoticed.

There to at least be a semblance of change. I wasn’t expecting an overnight change but figured they’d at least play like a team. Hell they played worse than they did under RvN
I mean the first goal was pretty textbook Amorim. Also they looked better under RvN because he probably wasn’t changing much tactically. Amorim said as much in his post game presser. The players were thinking too much because they’ve gotten a ton of information the last week. He also said it’s going to get worse before it gets better which makes sense.

If it gets worse, he’s not going to have a job. Not saying it’s right but that’s the way the team has operated. I think that Amorim is not going to get the time required to turn the team around.

I’m still of the opinion of dropping pretty much the entire team and starting fresh. Keep Mainoo, the rest I don’t care about.

I mean he’s being brought and completely overhauling the entire system. The rest of this season will probably suck, but based on how Amorim was at sporting the rest of this season will be used to see who equal be a fit in his system and who will become expendable. He could use the 4231 we’ve used all season and probably eke out a some results but that’d be pretty shortsighted. Now I’m not saying it’s guaranteed to work, but I at least respect that he’s coming in with a legitimate system that he’s implementing as opposed to whatever ETH was doing.

The sporting leadership has already made it clear the purse strings are tight for the foreseeable future, a complete overhaul of the team in the summer for example just isn't possible.

The players that were on international duty also had only one training session under Amorim. Rashford, Casemiro, Evans and the players coming back from injury like Shaw, Malacia and Mount had more training sessions with the new system.
