If you think he didn’t know, I’m not sure you know Salah. He most certainly knew. While they played like shit (though a crap penalty and a lapse from when they’ve kinda controlled it isn’t that poorly after the break but agree to differ) the goal still means a lot in a comeback win awayThat’s a level of specificity that does no favours, LOL. I don’t think players are incorporating their home-away splits into their celebrations.
I don’t doubt that he knew. But incorporating a milestone that hyper-specific into the rationale of a silly celebration in a silly context? Is funny. If you think he didn’t know, I’m not sure you know Salah. He most certainly knew. I just think it’s funny, and finding a very specific stat to make it “fair enough!” is extra funny. We don’t need to overthink this, LOL.They’re not robots. What exactly are we arguing? He got excited. It was a big goal for the club and the player.
I’d rather him go ape shit than be a robot and think it means nothing.
It's an important goal, so only 3.How many classless Subbans does that celly get?
All of them and it's hilariousHow many classless Subbans does that celly get?
+1For what it’s worth, he ran towards where I think the away fans are who were going bananas.
It’s a game winning goal. RelaxI am unsure about removing the shirt celebration in the circonstance...
I am well aware. I just find that it odds with the way the game has been going. I am more mad about him getting a yellow for it than the actual celebration. Maybe I am more old fashion (or getting older) but removing the shirt should be more for special occasion like Aguero scoring the title winning goal in the last minute or scoring the game decider in a final. It’s a game winning goal. +1Guys it’s just funny, no one is upset about this celebration, let’s all unclench
BothYeah it was stupid to celebrate that, save it for City @ Anfield next week.
I don’t think they were overlooking this but first game back from the international break on the road is usually tricky. Don’t think we were amazing but Southampton also got two very lucky goals and did nothing else. We could have had more too. Dibling is a fun player though. That being said, this is a kind of game that we’ve seen them lose under Klopp. I think Slot learned some lessons from the Forest game that helped him here+1
I was near ready to fill my pants because I was concerned they'd overlook the Saints to their contests vs City and Real Madrid in the next week and for that to happen was the funniest possible outcome
