From what I've read he didn't leave Atletico on happy terms, though. But it was a long time ago, so who knows how he feels.

He actually left them on bad terms TWICE, as the first time when he was a teen they didn't want to continue with him after he got injured, so Atletico had to buy him back from Villarreal 3 or 4 years later. And the second them when City came calling Atletico didn't want to let him leave, which forced City to have to pay the clause. But he grew up supporting them and all his family are Atletico fans.

I think that's their best midfield as of now. I will sometimes take Bissouma over Bentancur, but if they are both healthy, at least 1 of them are usually playing well.
