I just don’t get it why they went and spent a boat load on another defender when this team needed goals?

Even if they bought goals, they would still be playing very risk adverse. This is largely tactical. Arsenal, for some reason, decided that 9/10 times they win the league doing exact same things they did last season. So they were like hey, let’s just get taller and harder to play against. Their offense is give it to Saka, set pieces and pinball. That’s it. I don’t think this is all blamed on Odegaard being injured either. Yeah it doesn’t help, but players get injured. The issue is there’s been zero adaptation, but the last thing Arsenal will do is look in the mirror, but I guarantee you Arteta has no idea why Arsenal isn’t winning

Arteta thinks the goals will come by committee. Saka, Trossard, Martinelli, Jesus, Havertz, Ode, Rice, and the corner team should be enough.
