Epic Calder Race 2024-25

People weren’t seriously suggesting Hutson was challenging for Norris were they.

Seems as though the reins have been lightened a bit on Michkov. I saw their game against WSH couple nights ago and been back and forth with different games tonight and he seems to cherry pick quite a bit. Philly announcers talk about it, but basically suggest they should just let him go with those instincts, don’t worry too much about own end
The question ain't about if Hutson will Win or not the Calder;

The real question is: aside of winning the Calder, will he also be nominated for either the Norris and/or the Hart?

Put Hutson in Makar's place this season and Hutson would have almost the same point total probably within 10. It's not a joke he's already Norris caliber.

A bit lol. The difference is that Celebrini goes through some little "slumps" and Hutson does not, he gets better and better every game. Lane is also playing under a lot more pressure in Montreal, on the hockey scale he's at 100% pressure vs Celebrini's 0% pressure playing in Shark land. It's a good thing he thrives on pressure and spotlight. Hutson is also playing the harder position for a rookie. Celebrini is and will be a great player, but Hutson is a generational talent and it's obvious to everyone actually watching him.

Barring injuries he's winning the Calder. It's very possible that he's mentioned in the Norris discussion, he won't win obviously, it's gonna be Makar or Hughes.

Sadly yes, and also that he is generational already. And i believe going back forward went as far as bringing up bobby orr.

And then wolf chokes away the 2-0 lead late in the 3rd
That's one hell of a false narrative... the first goal hit a bidy in front and landed on the stick of an open man... the 2nd he'd probably want back, but the opportunity never should have occurred but the team in front of him turned it over... and the OT goal was a PP goal through heavy traffic.

Another 0 point -2 game for hutson. The whole he isn't challenging for the calder, he is challenging for the norris talk isn't looking to great right now.
All that talk was pure rubbish from a select few posters when the Habs were hot as a team and the narrative that Hutson was leading his team was hyperbole.

Celebrini has been consistently better working with less and that's why he is the favorite right now but we'll see how it all shakes down over the stretch drive.
