If we’re going to value players on goals scored only, 14 goals through almost 50 games played isn’t all that impressive.
I do think goals matter more than assists, but you gotta be realistic about defenseman goal scoring because most of the time they're taking really low percentage shots. Some of those shots end up being juicy rebound assists.

If Hutson has the most points, he's the Calder winner. That's just how the voting works. Not a statement on which player a team would most want, but I think any team would definitely want him on their roster.

Celebrini brings a lot more than just scoring goals yes?
Yes, thank goodness. We need more two-way players. We hardly even have any one-way players.

I feel like it’s been like this the whole season. When Michkov was lighting it up, Philly fans were loud, when Celebrini went on a tear, Sharks fans were loudest, and now we’re seeing it with Hutson. At this point, I believe it’s Hutson’s but that could change if another one of those guys goes on a tear. It’s weird how personal it gets for people, it’s really not an important award in the long run
Honestly, the only reason I ever was loud in this thread was because the Russian trolls were annoying.
