Celebrini had a nice goal, but honestly he hasn't looked as good to me in the past few games. Long season wearing on all these rookies. Anything can happen thru April.
I think he's looked just about as good but smith tends to kill plays and possessions and adding graf made things even more mercurial.

Smith has been creating and feeding plays more so than killing plays and possession as of late. Smith isn’t as bad as you think
meh, he still isn't keeping up with celebrini more often than not. i mean he really isn't ready for nhl top 6 minutes but he does have some chemistry with mack so it is what it is.

i just want BEANIE to put this race away so it bums me out when he makes an insane pass to AHL SMITH and he basically does nothing with it, loses the puck, and has no chance of getting it back or even checking the player that took it. then celebrini has to backcheck all the way into the d zone and strip it away.

Except Askarov has gotten back to back starts twice since we traded Blackwood and has played really well. Hard to justify demoting him.
Don't need to demote him. Just tell him you're 'pacing' his workload and he splits starts with George.

Or pull a Benning and tell him he's too good.

Only reason askarov is wven with the big club is because we had 2 nhl ready goalies signed when the trade was made and then the only trade we could make for blackwood was to Colorado which needed to shed money and a goalie. Luckily Vanecek got hurt and we are getting an extended look at askarov.

I do hope when Vanecek comes back that Georgiev is sent down to the ahl and asked not to report for the rest of the season.

Silly thing to care about when Hutson is on a bad team. Maybe if he was on Winnipeg or something
And his post is not even factual. Hutson is now +/-0 at 5vs5 on the season and is +6 in his last 18 games.

If people look-up his +/- right now, at -8, it's all from empty net situations where he is 0gf 8ga.

With how he's been playing in the last 5 weeks, he might finish a positive despite all the empty nets.
