I like the mix of prospects we have . Everyone will have a role to play and we can create that winning culture again that won us two cups . But somethings gotta give . We will see some prospects moved and traded to get someone more elite offensively or maybe improve the defense . In 3 years you can realistically expect a lineup of

That 3rd mine might be one of the best 3rd lines ever iced in the cap era . This is how championships are won . Depth throughout nd skill throughout . Dependent obviously on if Vilardi heals up and reaches potential . I’m also very high on Fagemo I don’t think people realize he put up impressive numbers being 18 almost the entire year . His numbers are better than many top NHLers at the same age . Also Sodergran will become a fan favorite , he has skill and slick hands and has a little feistiness to his game . He would be perfect for the bottom 6 and with the way the NHL is going where teams are going to need two 3rd lines instead of a 4th line playing 8 mins a night and just bringing energy , we are looking pretty damn good for the future . Crazy what the drafting department has done in 3 years time .
All of this is dependent on players reaching even a little of their actual potential . Players are making their respective clubs before the ages of 21-22 because the NHL is becoming younger and players who would have played guaranteed in previous years are out of the NHL in their early 30s now . It’s not like before where people are going to say no their young they won’t make it bullshit. Look around the league !
